Job description

Tax Compliance Management ? Monitoring preparation and filing of quarterly TDS & TCS Returns and Annual Income Tax returns to ensure statutory compliance. ? Co-ordinating with consultants in preparation of Transfer Pricing Report, Master file and CBC Report to ensure tax compliance for related party transactions. ? Responsible for timely payment of all tax dues under Direct taxes viz. I... Tax Compliance Management ? Monitoring preparation and filing of quarterly TDS & TCS Returns and Annual Income Tax returns to ensure statutory compliance. ? Co-ordinating with consultants in preparation of Transfer Pricing Report, Master file and CBC Report to ensure tax compliance for related party transactions. ? Responsible for timely payment of all tax dues under Direct taxes viz. Income Tax, TDS & TCS and Indirect taxes viz. GST & Customs. ? Working on estimation of Advance taxes in consultation with the manager and other finance team to ensure timely deposit. ? Manage preparation & review of monthly and annual GST return for PAN India registrations. ? Prepare month/quarter end tax reports and annual tax reconciliations for Statutory Audit. Tax Assessments, Tax audits and refunds ? Handling income tax, GST and other audits, assessments at all state locations. Representing Mosaic in various tax assessments for discussion with tax officers. ? Preparation of Tax Audit report and liaise with Auditors for 3CD certification. ? Maintain detailed and clear documentation/records for establishing Arm’s length transfer pricing and liaise with external councils for 3CEB certification. ? Computation of GST and other tax refunds refund, liasioning with consultants for filing of refunds and regular follow up & responses to the queries raised by tax authorities. ? Assistance in setting up new process of accounting reconciliations required for smooth and effective new faceless assessment/scrutiny under Income Tax law. Litigation Management & Documentation ? Preparing replies to queries from Income tax department, GST department and Customs. ? Engage in discussion with external consultants on various positions taken by Mosaic ? Represent company in various litigations in front of tax officers under different forums to defend Mosaic position ? Handling of various notices viz. departmental queries, show cause notices, clarifications etc. ? Responsible for proper filing and maintaining proper documentation for each case separately. ? Regular update to management on Litigation Tracker Tax due diligence and Tax planning ? Work together with business teams to successfully carry out tax due diligence internally or with the support of external councils of new product launch in India and on new business activities. ? Providing regular tax updates under various tax laws in India on amendment ? Assist in tax planning to manager for improvement in cash flow and/or reduction in cost to improve margins for india business. People Management ? Provide internal tax advice and support on business operation matters. ? Supervise, guide and manage a team in upgrading technical and other skills. Read More
